Strip hidden zero-width and invisible characters from text, and remove EXIF/XMP/C2PA metadata from images. Your wording is left untouched. See exactly what was removed, before and after.
The tool scans your text for hidden Unicode characters — zero-width spaces, joiners, word joiners, variation selectors, and tag characters — that are sometimes used as invisible watermarks. It reports exactly which ones it finds and how many.
Cleaning removes those hidden characters and normalizes the text to Unicode NFC form. It does not change your word choice, so the meaning and style are preserved exactly. For images, it strips EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and C2PA metadata.
You see a before/after view and the exact count of characters removed, so nothing is hidden. Note the honest limit: this cannot detect or remove a statistical token-level watermark (the kind embedded in an AI model's word choice), which needs the model owner's private key.
Content teams, publishers, and enterprises increasingly rely on AI-assisted writing in their workflows. While AI tools dramatically accelerate content creation, the watermarks they embed can create challenges. Detection by third-party tools may trigger false plagiarism flags, violate internal content policies, or raise questions about authorship authenticity during audits and reviews.
Our remover addresses these challenges by providing a transparent, auditable process for watermark management. Every change is documented, and the original and modified versions are maintained for compliance. The system is designed for teams that need to maintain content quality while managing the practical realities of AI-assisted workflows in regulated or high-scrutiny environments.
Enterprise customers benefit from batch processing capabilities, API integration for automated pipelines, and detailed analytics on watermark prevalence across their content portfolio. Our aggressive mode option performs deeper rewrites when standard removal is insufficient, though we recommend the default balanced mode for most use cases as it achieves the optimal trade-off between watermark elimination and content preservation.
The remover supports all content types including long-form articles, marketing copy, technical documentation, academic writing, and creative content. Specialized modes automatically adjust the rewriting strategy based on content type to ensure domain-appropriate modifications that maintain the professional quality your audience expects.
